It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Irene Dirks of Montezuma, Kansas, who passed away on January 15, 2021, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Sam J. Schmidt and Minnie Schmidt; her husband Marvin Dirks; her son Eldon; and her siblings, Susie Schmidt, Alice Smith, Alma Dirks, Dorothy Schmidt, Henry Schmidt and LeeVern Schmidt. She is also survived by thirty-one grandchildren and sixty-four great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
