Harry Schmidt Obituary

He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Schmidt and Eva Schmidt; and his siblings, Clifford, James, Irene, Opal and Ruby.

He is survived by: his child Cammie; his friend Texhoma Livestock Cafe; his wife Laura Jane; his children, Calvin of Texhoma, Camilla, Patrick Wohlgemuth of Landmark, Manitoba, Kent, Angela of Agassiz and British Columbia; his grandchildren, Zane Schmidt, Tate Schmidt, Chantillae (Ricky Isaac), Magdalena (Gario Belleus), Savario (Alicia Wohlgemuth), Akash (Daria Wohlgemuth), Tara (Tynan Wedel), Travis (Melissa Schmidt) and Ty (Michelle Schmidt); his siblings, Frank Schmidt, Louie (Marjorie Schmidt), Nina Schmidt and Jonathon (Lillian Schmidt); his extended family, Myrtle Koehn, Becky and Ray Frank; and also, Emil and Julie Schmidt of Clinton. He is also survived by seven great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM and on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Texhoma Mennonite Church (7455 Co Rd D, Gruver, TX 79040). A burial was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 at 11:45 AM at the Texhoma Mennonite Cemetery (7455 Co Rd D, Gruver, TX 79040).
