She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Smith and Myrtle Smith; her husband Merle; her sister Sally; and her brother-in-law Larry Koehn.
She is survived by: her sons, Steve (Donna) of Hiawatha, Kansas and Everett (Ann) of Los Lunas; her siblings, Claudell (Herb Spence), Jackie Koehn, Bill Smith (Pauline) and Calvin Smith (Connie); and her brother-in-law Richard Giesbrecht.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Swaim Funeral Chapel of Montezuma (506 W Cortez St, Montezuma, KS 67867). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, December 22nd 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Salem Mennonite Church (709 WW Rd, Copeland, KS 67837). A burial will be held on Sunday, December 22nd 2024 at 11:45 PM at the same location.
