With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Tom Fred Murphy of Moline, Kansas, born in Lawrence, Kansas, who passed away on August 12, 2023 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Elfreda E. Raybourn (Papenhausen) and Thomas Patrick Murphy; and his brother Patrick. He is survived by: his wife Joan; his adoptive daughters, Amy Shaw (Chris) of Coffeyville, KS and Rhonda "Skeeter" Cloyd (Tim); his grandchildren, Cindy Cloyd of Seneca, MO, Travis Cloyd of Tempe, AZ, Quentin Bryant (Shyanne) of Norfolk, VA and Lauryn Tallman (Caleb) of Christiansburg, VA; and his great grandchildren, Annalee and Sunni.
Memorial contributions can be made to Harry Hynes Hospice and can be mailed to or left with the funeral home.
