He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Malone and Eva Malone (Witt); his siblings, Marvin Malone and Leona; and his wife Eva (McGregor).
He is survived by: his children, Alton Malone (Marie) of Emporia, Corrine Wood of Fort Worth and Leroy Malone (Wanda Mills) of Moline. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials have been suggested to the Moline Alumni Association.
