He is survived by: his wife Janet Shurtz; his children, Tiffany Shurtz of Frisco, TX, Todd Shurtz (Beth) of Keller, TX, Amy Dvorak (Ed) of Vancleave, MS and Amber Mattke (Ryan) of Augusta, KS; his grandchildren, Kevin, Grant Shurtz, Drew, Jake, Lily Dvorak, Rylie, Saylor, Jens and Rhett Mattke; and his brother Virgil Joe Shurtz. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
