He is survived by: his wife LuAnn Amy; his sons, Rod Elsey (Pam) and Craig Elsey (Tina); his grandchildren, Shandi Lopez (Joey), Daylen Elsey (Megan), Bo Elsey and Courtney Elsey; and also Vada Amy. He is also survived by 5 great grandchildren; 2 half-sisters.
