He was predeceased by: his parents, John Maier and Lydia Maier (Lohman). He is survived by: his wife Patricia J. Fuhrman; his children, Timothy Maier (Defawnya) and Teresa Maier; his grandchildren, Shanda Overbeck (Nevin), Nathan Herrera (Stephanie), Lauren Winter (Jason) and Aislinn Maier; and his great grandchildren, Gavin, Gaige Overbeck, Jackson and Monroe Winter.
