He was predeceased by: his parents, John Hindman and Stella Hindman (Anderson); and his siblings, Paul, Bob, Dave and Mary (Humphreys).
He is survived by: his wife Carol Edgar; and his children, Alvin (Diane), Anita Curry (Wayne), Mark (Laurie), North, Janice Martin (Bob) and Joe (Erin). He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
In honor of Reed, memorial contributions may be given to the Minneola Long Term Care or the Sterling Reformed Presbyterian Church both in care of Minnis Mortuary, 1901 N. 14th Ave., Dodge City, Kansas 67801.
