It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Pauline Craghead of Minneola, Kansas, born in Lamar, Colorado, who passed away on April 23, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence H. Smith and Opal E. Smith (Baker); her son William Coats; and her siblings, Clarene, Ray, Faye, Doris and Ross.
She is survived by: her husband Darrell Craghead of Jetmore, KS; her children, Debra McKibbon (Tom) of Creede, CO and Kim Coats (Tina) of Centennial, CO; her grandchildren, Shawn McKibbon (Myra) of Monte Vista, CO, Robin Mosier (Zac) of Lamar, CO, Ryan Coats (Olga) of Parker, CO, Reggie Coats of Centennial, CO, Nichole Coats of Centennial, CO, Desiree Coats of Austin, TX and Alissa Coats of Aurora, CO.; her great grandchildren, Kari Mosier, Kaije Mosier, Kyden Coats, Brittney Mestas (Eric), Megan McKibbon (Scott Dillon) and Hunter McKibbon (Mary Fuchs); and her sister-in-law Margie Smith. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and a host of friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Peacock Family Chapel (209 S 4th St, Lamar, CO 81052). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Elks National Foundation either direct or in care of the funeral home office.
