It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Margaret Louise Douglas of Minneola, Kansas, born in Dodge City, Kansas, who passed away on March 14, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Castle Jones and Ruby Jones; her former husband J. W. Harshberger; and her children, Kathy Dragoo and Karl Harshberger.
She is survived by: her brother Wesley Black of Dodge City; her former husband James William Harshberger (J. W.); her husband Jack V. Douglas of Ashland, KS.; and her children, Karen Ryan of Lenexa, KS, Kay Chapin (Rick) of Lebanon, KS, Kenneth Harshberger (Lisa) of Meade, KS and Kevin Harshberger (Janelle) of Louisburg, KS.. She is also survived by her six children, Margaret had 18 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, and several great great grandchildren.
In the Spring of 2020 Margaret survived COVID-19 without a stay in the hospital.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be given to the Minneola Long Term Care through Minnis Mortuary, 1901 N. 14th Ave., Dodge City, KS 67801.
