It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Marshall of Minneola, Kansas, born in Ashland, Kansas, who passed away on March 11, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Violet Minor, (Demmitt) and John W. Minor, Sr.; her husband Duane; and her siblings, Arreta, Dean and J. W. Jr. Minor.
She is survived by: her children, Kelley Ann Monaghan, Toni Lou Marshall and Joel Martin Marshall (Karen); her grandchild Shonda Thomason (Scott) of Augusta; and her children, Andria Monaghan of Augusta, Duana Barker (Darren) of Augusta, Brenden Monaghan of Augusta, Meeka Lockert (Chandler) of North Pole and Dallas Hornback of North Pole. She is also survived by 12 great grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials to the Cookson Hills Christian Children's Home or CrossWalk Christian Church both in care of Minnis Mortuary, 1901 N. 14th Ave., Dodge City, Kansas 67801.
