He was predeceased by: his parents, Dwight Paul and Cecile Marie Jones (Ramsay); his siblings, Frank, David Jones and Eva McBee; and his grandson-in-law Brett Boss.
He is survived by: his wife Linnette Ratzlaff; his children, Paul Jones (Amy), Nan Luhrsen (Doug) and Julie Scherff (Duane); his grandchildren, Melissa Leistikow (George), Ashley Haase (Brett), Danielle Boss, Matthew Rankin, Cassie Luhrsen, Brooke Luhrsen, Megan Mueller (Joe), Abigail Karst (Jake) and Emma Jones; and his siblings, Dwayne Jones and Linda Gaede. He is also survived by 17 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Minneola Community Church (204 E Elm St, Minneola, KS 67865). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
The family suggests memorials to the Melanoma Research Foundation in care of Minnis Mortuary, 1901 N. 14 th Ave., Dodge City, Kansas 67801.
