He was predeceased by : his parents, William Sparks and Rosa Sparks (Lundsford); his daughter Jeri Ann Sparks; and his siblings, Charley, Fred, Marion, Elmer Sparks, Pollyann, Rastus, Thelma and Velma.
He is survived by : his wife Marjorie Lorene Thompson; his children, Nancy Groth (Craig), David Sparks and Alan Sparks (Alison); and twin nieces Michelle Simpson (Doug) and Richelle Naiman. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials to the Minneola Business Development Inc. -Hometown Market and Minneola Long Term Care, both in care of Minnis Mortuary, 1901 N. 14th Ave., Dodge City, Kansas 67801.
