We are sad to announce that on July 9, 2023, at the age of 85, Barbara Joy Houser in Minneola, Kansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernon Morain and Bertha Morain (McMann); her brother Roger Morain; her mother-in-law Lillie Houser; and her grandsons, James Nicholas Houser (Nick) and Matthew Stoner.
She is survived by: her husband Jim; her children, Rob Houser (Ruthe), Mark Houser (Merrie), Janette Woods and Shirley Stoner; her brother Bob Morain (Donna); and her sister-in-law Donita Morain.
In lieu of flowers, Barbara had requested that memorials / donations be made to the Cookson Hills Christian Children's Home, Minneola Hometown Market or the Minneola Civic Center in care of Minnis Mortuary, 1901 N, 14th Ave., Dodge City, Kansas 67801. Or to any charity of your choice.
