He was predeceased by: his parents, Riley Max and Marcia Long Dixon. He is survived by: his wife Rose Marie Hahn; his son Matthew Robert (Kate); and his granddaughters, Paige, Elizabeth and Genevieve.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Wilson Family Funeral Home (405 Argyle Ave, Minneapolis, KS 67467). A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 at 3:30 PM at the Maple Grove Cemetery (1300 Matt Down Ln, Dodge City, KS 67801).
