He was predeceased by: his wife Betty Mae Collins; his parents, Vernie and Vivian; and his siblings, Jake, Oakla, Lawrence and Mabel Jane Johnson.
He is survived by: his children, Jim Gawith (Kay) and Joni Crosson (Curtis); his grandchildren, Jayme Gawith, Lezlie McKinney (Damon), Aimee Trout (T. J.), Aricca Wallace (Matthew), Monicca King (Robert) and Tara Young (Beauyett); and his siblings, Kenny Gawith, Deloris Pachta and Kathryn Paige. He is also survived by six great-grandsons; six great-granddaughters; one great-great grandson.
