Karen D. Barefield Obituary
We are sad to announce that on November 7, 2024, at the age of 74, Karen D. Barefield of Minneapolis, Kansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Norman Thompson and Leila Thompson (Turner); her brother David; her brothers-in-law, Russ and Duane; and her niece Laura.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sela Grigg (Steve) of Minneapolis and Andie Barefield (Andrea) of Lincoln, NE; her grandchildren, Tyler Grigg and Kaysie Williamson (Keagon); her siblings, Curtis Thompson (Bernice) and Betty Anderson; her sister-in-law Robin Barefield (Mike Munsey); and her nieces and nephews, Craig, Keith, Brian, Ross, Chad, Carina, Richard and Nick.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Wilson Family Funeral Home (405 Argyle Ave, Minneapolis, KS 67467). A graveside service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Highland Cemetery (1298 K 106 Hwy, Minneapolis, KS 67467).
