He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert G. Freeman and Ruth Freeman (Payne); his son Jerry; his son-in-law Parke Goodwin; and his siblings, Lloyd, Neal, C. D., Ronald, Alena Rasmussen and LaDonna Perkins.
He is survived by: his children, Carol Freeman, Eddie Freeman (Vera) and Janet Meade (Stephen); the mother of his children Arlene Crist; his grandchildren, Brandy Egbarts (Martin) and Joseph Freeman; his great grandchildren, Tyler Hohner (Miranda), Quinn Egbarts and Raylee Freeman; his great great grandchild Levi Hohner; and his brothers, Royce, Harley, Wendell and John Paul.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the V.F.W. Auxiliary #3201 for the veteran's quilt program and may be left in care of Wilson Family Funeral Home, P.O. Box 166, Minneapolis, KS 67467.
