Mertz of Minneapolis, Kansas, born in Beloit, Kansas, who passed away on April 6, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Mertz and Dorothy Mertz (Swinton). He is survived by: his wife Cheryll Mertz; his son Mark (Gail); his grandchild Savanna (Isaac); his daughter Missy Witt (Rome) of Minneapolis, KS; and his grandson Logan Elliott (Riley Shanks) of Lincoln, NE..
