He was predeceased by: his parents, Emery Paul and Cora Elizabeth Eklund (Rothfuss); his brothers-in-law, Vincent McNeil and Vernon Wendelken; his granddaughter Bonnie Lynn Matulka (Kooiker); and his great grandchild Aberine Paul Teachworth.
He is survived by: his wife Juanita White (Toni) of Abilene Kansas; his children, Sherry Kooiker (John) of Hull Iowa, Steve White (Teresa) of Portland Michigan, Greg White (Cathy) of Clay Center and Mark Eklund (Suzy) of Raytown; and his siblings, Meta Wendelken of Wakefield Kansas and Darrel Eklund (Nilda) of Topeka Kansas. He is also survived by 19 Grandchildren and 36 great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
He cared for Toni at home in recent years after she was diagnosed with Alzheimer's.
