She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Pierson and Mildred Pierson; her husband Harold Buschmeyer; her brothers, Donald, Harold and Harlan Pierson; and her son-in-law Craig Meigs.

She is survived by: her daughter Karen Meigs; and her grandchildren, Timothy Meigs, Amy, Sarah Beth and Valerie Meigs.
