With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Derek Nelson of Merriam, Kansas, born in Colby, Kansas, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Derek left this world on May 1, 2024 at the age of 38, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He is survived by: his parents, Mark Nelson and Donnita Nelson (Weiler); and his sister Megan Nelson. He is also survived by loving aunts, uncles, cousins.
