He was predeceased by: his wife Joan Miller; his parents, Wilbur Miller and Ida Miller; and his sisters, Beverly Johnson and Nancy Miller.
He is survived by: his former wife Mary Joan Timmerman; his daughter Julie Messbarger; his grandchildren, Christopher Messbarger and Ally Messbarger of Olathe, KS; his siblings, Barbara Snow (Wayne) of Waconia, MN and Donald Miller of Minneapolis, MN; and his close friend Hamdan Abdalla. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
