He was predeceased by: his parents, Millard Francis and Mary Elizabeth Lewis McDaniel; and his sister Sue Williams. He is survived by: his former wife Connie Sue McDaniel; his sons, Robert "Rob" McDaniel (Marti) and John McDaniel (Jessica); and his siblings, William "Gus" McDaniel (Vonna), Pat McDaniel and Jeannie Martin (Larry). He is also survived by three grandchildren.
