He is survived by: his wife Janet French of Joseph's Catholic Church; his children, Gary French (Debbie) of Melvern, KS, Diane Chapman (Perry) of Waverly, KS and Marcia Thompson (Terry) of Emporia, KS; his sister Helen R. Johnson (Kenneth) of Topeka, KS; and his siblings-in-law, LouAnn Korbe of Topeka, KS, Carol Williams (Jim) of Phoenix, AZ, Jane Heinen (Russ) of Meriden, KS, Judy Nunamaker (Mike) of Lomalinda, KS, Meryl Yockey of Wichita, KS and Roy Korbe of Wichita, KS.. He is also survived by six grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
A rosary was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (528 Pearson Ave, Waverly, KS 66871). Visitation was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial contribution may be made to St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Waverly, Kansas, or Hand in Hand Hospice, Emporia, Kansas.
