She was predeceased by: her parents, Vincent Boyer and Bessie Lemons Boyer; her husband George "Don" Rice; her daughter Pat Kronk; her brother Steve Boyer; her grandson Vince Rice; and her daughter-in-law Barbara Rice.
She is survived by: her children, Jim Rice (Teresa) of Melvern, Trudy Orender (Bill) of Osage City, George Rice of Clay Center, Christine Orear (Marlin) of Melvern, John Rice (Dorothy) of Osage City and Karen Allison (Larry) of Melvern. She is also survived by nineteen grandchildren, thirty-nine great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.
