He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Lee Fortune and Betty Lou Fortune (Fipps). He is survived by: his wife Jeaneane Fortune (Peterson) of Medicine Lodge, KS; his children, Eric (Sarah), Janelle and Aaron (Jessica); his grandchildren, Logan, Libby, Luke, Ruby, Carl, Alma, Harper, Graham and Warren; and his siblings, Sherry Inslee (Roland) and Tom Fortune (Kathy).

Memorials may be made to Medicine Lodge Chamber of Commerce Youth Fishing Derby in care of Larrison Funeral Home, 120 E. Lincoln, Medicine Lodge, KS 67104.
