We are sad to announce that on July 15, 2021, at the age of 78, Phillip D. Simpson of Medicine Lodge, Kansas, born in Anthony, Kansas passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Phillip D. Simpson to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert C. Simpson and Marjorie Simpson (Rozzelle); his wife Joyce Ditgen; his son Anthony Layne "Tony" Simpson; and his sisters, Phyllis J. Shelite and Evelyn R. Pierce.

He is survived by: his sons, Christopher Dean Simpson (Kelley) of Jacksonville, FL, Shawn Michael Simpson (Melissa) of Kiowa, KS and Brian Jon Simpson (Kimberly) of Kansas City, MO; his grandchildren, Tanner David Chamblee, Brittany Marie, Cade Anthony, Adrienne Rozzelle, Audrey May and Anthony James Simpson; and his siblings, Richard K. Simpson of Cape Coral, FL and Mary Rucker of Sharon, KS. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and grand nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to the Knights of Columbus, in care of Larrison Funeral Home, 120 E. Lincoln, Medicine Lodge, KS 67104.
