He is survived by: his wife Bonita Hayes of Medicine Lodge, KS; his children, Desi Young (Joe) of Medicine Lodge, KS and Joshua Smart of Salina, KS; his grandchildren, Trenton Smart and Paislea Smart; and his siblings, Sharry Smart of Texas and Rodney Smart of Clovis, NM..
