The memory of Jana Ricke of Medicine Lodge, Kansas, who passed away on February 15, 2025 at the age of 81, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Sippel and Addie Sippel (Koontz); her husband Glenn Arlen Ricke; and her grandson Joseph Ricke. She is survived by: her children, Arlen Ricke (Leah) of Brookings, OR, Kevin Ricke (Sharon) of Warsaw, MO and Stacy Doherty (Ed) of Medicine Lodge, KS; her grandchildren, Tiffani, Casey (Liberty), Kathryn, Marissa and Michelle; and her great grandchildren, Lakota, Chayce, Derrick, Tucker, Thomas, Jentree and Kaelor.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Larrison Funeral Home (120 E Lincoln Ave, Medicine Lodge, KS 67104). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the First Christian Church - Medicine Lodge (300 S Main St, Medicine Lodge, KS 67104).
Memorials may be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the First Christian Church (for the puppets or church camp) in care of the funeral home.
