He was predeceased by: his parents, Hubert McMahan and Sylvia McMahan (Brown); and his brothers, Jerry McMahan and Jack McMahan. He is survived by: his children, Belinda Bagby (Gary) of Hutchinson, KS, James Bryan McMahan (Mary) of Grandbury, TX, Debra VanRanken (Earl) of Medicine Lodge, KS and Jerry Duane McMahan of Great Bend, KS; and his grandchildren, Michael Ashley, Ryan Keast, Jason McMahan (Tara), Aubrey Broach (Chris), Katlyn West, Kilie West, Earl VanRanken, III (Callie) and Nikki VanRanken.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First Christian Church, the Medicine Lodge Memorial Hospital or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in care of Larrison Funeral Home, 120 E. Lincoln, Medicine Lodge, KS 67104.
