It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Alva Young in Medicine Lodge, Kansas, who passed away on May 29, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alva "Cap" Young and Opal Young (Huffman); his wife Lena Fay Young (Rosendale); and his siblings, Frank Young, Dick Young and Mable DePriest.
He is survived by: his children, James A. Young Jr. of Cedar Rapids, IA and Jacquelyn A. Gossett (Brett) of Chuluota, FL; his grandchildren, James D. Gossett and Makayla A. Gossett; and his sisters, Kathy Turley of Garden City, KS and Sandy Moore of Dodge City, KS..
