She was predeceased by: her parents, Byron Arthur Cox and Mabel Cox (Crisler); her husband Ernest Alvin Rice; and her siblings, Lavern, LeRoy, Charles Cox and Eleanor Barnes.
She is survived by: her children, Rod Rice (Cathy) of Medicine Lodge, KS, Mark Rice (Sandra) of Medicine Lodge, KS and Rita Bolay (Gary) of Shawnee, KS. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
