He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Spriggs and Madeline Spriggs (Sproat); his son Wayne Spriggs; and his sister Nancy Hicks. He is survived by: his wife Twee Spriggs; his daughter Cindy Artiles (Frank); his stepchildren, Aphrodite Campbell (Kevin) and Robbie Davis; and his grandchildren, Shenna Coates, Andrea Smith, Ashley Thompson, Lindsey Walker and Scott Spriggs. He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.
