Ernest Stackhouse Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ernest Stackhouse of Medicine Lodge, Kansas, born in Geneseo, Kansas, who passed away on June 14, 2021 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Bertha Stackhouse McKinzie; his spouse Audra Ann "Audie" Nodurft; and his brother Jerry McKinzie. He is survived by: his children, Rosemarie Evans (Jim) of Medicine Lodge, KS, Gregg Stackhouse of Medicine Lodge, KS and Bob Stackhouse (Mary) of Cunningham, KS; and his daughter-in-law Carla Stackhouse of Medicine Lodge, KS. He is also survived by five grandchildren, two step-grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
He graduated from Geneseo High School in 1951 and attended the GHS alumni banquet every year from graduation until 2021 (except for 2020 when it was canceled due to COVID-19).
