He was predeceased by: his parents, Loren Merle and Helen Woodrow Swonger (Hostetler); and his wife Nancy Mae Swonger (Winters). He is survived by: his children, Laverne "Bernie" Swonger of Pratt, Susan Oller (Curt) of Pratt and Cindy Tyler (Clint) of Sawyer; his grandchildren, Ray Oller (Nina) of Wichita, Randy Oller (Britt) of Pratt, Ashley Tyler of Pratt, Braden Tyler (Sterling) of Seneca and Madison; his great grandchildren, Alysa, Rylee, Titus, Thaddeus, Tiberius, Sean, Maci and Peyton; and his sister-in-law Jackie Naasz of Spearville. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
