With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Cecil Ray Newman in Medicine Lodge, Kansas, born in Mooreland, Oklahoma, who passed away on November 20, 2022 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Carl Newman and Lena Newman (Perrin); his wife Kim Newman (Stone); and his children, Michael Newman (Sarah) of Medicine Lodge and Georgia Ann Miller (Chris) of Lindsborg. He was also cherished by 8 grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to SonShine Puppets at First Christian Church in care of Larrison Funeral Home.

“Cecil was a much loved brother-in-law. We have lots of wonderful memories. He loved coming to visit us to play golf bringing Mike & friends. When we came to Okla, he always came down to visit us. Cecil, had 3 siblings; 2 brothers, Jim (who has passed) & Larry and 1 sister, Carlene. And, many nieces & nephews who adored him. He is going to be deeply missed, but know in our hearts, he is in a better place. Beverly”
