It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Benedict Ricke of Medicine Lodge, Kansas, born in Sharon, Kansas, who passed away on April 26, 2022, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Benedict Joseph Ricke and Mary Ann Ricke (Rausch); his son Theodore Ricke; his siblings, Walter, Victor, Lawrence, Arnold, Bernadine and Evaline; and his grandson Ricke Joe Baker.
He is survived by: his children, Darrel Ricke (Judy) of Hutchinson, KS, Roger Ricke (Alice) of Wichita, KS, Duane Ricke (Pam) of Attica, KS, John Ricke (Tammy) of Mulvane, KS, Lana Kay Baker (Tim) of Amarillo, TX, Pat Merz (Dave) of Valley Center, KS, Cheryl Grodecki (Don) of Lake Quivera, KS and Mary Beth Chandler (Gary) of Holcomb, KS; and his sister Marceline Simon of Stroud, OK.. He is also survived by 22 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren with 2 on the way and one great-great grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Multiple Sclerosis, Muscular Dystrophy or Attica Long Term Care in care of Larrison Funeral Home.
