She is survived by: her children, Elizabeth Forsyth (Brad) of Medicine Lodge, Clint Lonker (Tammy) of Medicine Lodge, Brent Lonker (Serena) of Fresno, Andrea Fisher (John) of Medicine Lodge, Uli Leisch (Caro) and Diego Vera; her grandchildren, Wendy Gwennap (Jesse) of Sutton, Danielle Waller (Luke) of Strong City, Mathew Forsyth (Carrie) of Medicine Lodge, Sean Forsyth of Medicine Lodge, Mallory Powers (Kyle) of Manhattan, Courtney Lonker of Medicine Lodge, Brooklyn Loder (Ethan) of Olathe, Torrey Lonker (Mott Asuma) of Manhattan, Taryn Lonker of Wichita, Luke Fisher (Brooklyn) of Medicine Lodge, Kirk Fisher of Medicine Lodge, Jake Fisher of Medicine Lodge, Elena and Noah Leisch of Germany; her great grandchildren, Hannah Chaon, Noah Gwennap, Gabe Gwennap, Landry Forsyth, Merritt Forsyth, Locke Forsyth, Clayton Forsyth, Brecklynn Forsyth, Rhett Forsyth, Kasold Powers, Huxley Powers and Bo Loder; her sister-in-law Judi Lewis; her nieces and nephews, Dale Lonker (Jodi), John Lonker (Mary), Jason Lewis (Lindsay), Jamie Lonker and Summer Henry (Brandon); and her sons, Chris Strohla and Oli Strohla.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials designated to Medicine Lodge Methodist Church, which will include several missions near and dear to Barbara's heart such as World Vision and Heifer Project, in care of Larrison Funeral Home, 120 E. Lincoln, Medicine Lodge, KS 67104. The grandchildren request a special offering to Operation Christmas Child through bringing an item or cash donation to carry the legacy of her generous spirit and family tradition.
