It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Arthur Edwin Gumpenberger of Medicine Lodge, Kansas, who passed away on March 17, 2023, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ed Gumpenberger and Stella Gumpenberger; his wife Linda Gumpenberger; his children, Joseph Gumpenberger, Brian (Traci Gumpenberger), Sarah (Chris Goodrich), David (Sarah Lampe) and Jason (Becky Lampe); his grandchildren, Anna Gumpenberger, Jonah Gumpenberger, Emily Gumpenberger, Ashlind Gumpenberger, Atleigh Gumpenberger, Lochlan Gumpenberger, Elijah Goodrich, Lucas Goodrich, Micah Goodrich, Lillianna Goodrich, Samantha Lampe, Wyatt Lampe, Holly Statham, Presley Ridley, Allie Alvarez, Gracie Lampe and Jacy Lampe; his great grandchildren, Kinleigh and Maddox; his siblings, Robert G. (Myrna Gumpenberger) and Shirley (Rex Butler); his brother-in-law Jim Laufenberg; his aunt Beulah Hindman; and his uncle Dennis Powell. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
