Karen C. Slate Obituary
With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Karen C. Slate of Meade, Kansas, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Karen left this world on April 1, 2025 at the age of 72, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Glenn Edward and Barbara Marie Feldman (Wurdeman); her former husband John F. Hoover; her husband Garry W. Slate; and her brother Roger Feldman.
She is survived by: her stepdaughters, Wendy Wilkinson of Houston, Misty Richters of Garden City and Jennifer Stoltz; her sister Janet Hale of Plains, Kansas; her grandchildren, Patrick, Cailey, Joey, Ethan, Cesar, Fabian, Devin and Tyler; and her great grandchild Mitzeli. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. John Lutheran Church (208 E Grant St, Meade, KS 67864).
The family would welcome memorials to the American Kidney Foundation in care of the funeral home.
