James A. Hollis Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James A. Hollis of Meade, Kansas, born in Scott City, Kansas, who passed away on December 14, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Grover Cleveland and Gladys E. Hollis (Zink); his son Harold Hollis; and his siblings, Norman Lee Hollis and Lillian M. Hollis.
He is survived by: his sons, Bill Hollis of Meade, Bert Hollis of Dodge City and Darrell Hollis of Eads, Colorado; and his sister Sharon Sutton of Garden City, Kansas. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
The family would welcome memorials to the Beam Senior Center in care of the funeral home.
