With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dan M. Ackerman of Meade, Kansas, born in Alva, Oklahoma, who passed away on January 10, 2024 at the age of 89. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Dan M. Ackerman to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ezra Ackerman and Hazel Ackerman (McArthur); his wife Charlene Ruth Armbruster; his sister Carolyn Huber; and his great grandchild Dalton Baker.
He is survived by: his children, Brad Ackerman (Crys) of Meade, Randy Ackerman (Pam) of Wichita and Danette Langford (Rjay) of Meade; and his sisters, Gay Sweet of Wichita and Betty Cutright of Cherokee, Oklahoma. He is also survived by six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
The family would welcome memorials to the Friends of the Meade State Lake in care Fidler-Orme-Bachman Mortuary, Meade.
