With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Alta Grace Rempel of Meade, Kansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 22, 2024 at the age of 97. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Alta Grace Rempel to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Crist Beyler and Clara Beyler (Baker); her husband Will; her son-in-law Derk Hedlund; her siblings, Velma Weaver (Alvin), Vera Yoder (Dale), Clayton Beyler (Gladys) and Victor Beyler (Elsie); and her siblings-in-law, Pete, Donald, Dave C. Reimer, Ken Kauffman, Ervin Harms, Erma Kauffman, Helen Day, Eva Rempel, Kathy Rempel and Debbie Rempel.
She is survived by: her children, Nola Hedlund of Montezuma, Kansas, Steve Rempel (Sandy) of Lenexa, Kansas, Donna Roulhac of Hesston, Kansas and DeAnn Rempel of Ashland, Kansas; her grandchildren, Brian Roulhac (Ivana), Kevin Roulhac (Lauren), Levi Hedlund (Megan), Logan Hedlund (Kelsey), Lane Hedlund (Lexi), Garrett Rempel (Natalie) and Emily Daniel (Nolan); her great grandchildren, Bristyl, Ellie, Avery, Jonah Roulhac, Luke, Leah Hedlund, Calvin and Jack Hedlund; and her siblings-in-law, Ed Rempel (Katherine), Walter Rempel, Dr. Howard Day, Margaret Reimer, Marilyn Harms and Eileen Kaufman (Burton). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 25th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Fidler-Orme-Bachman Mortuary (212 S Fowler St, Meade, KS 67864).
The family would welcome memorials to the Lone Tree Retirement Center or the Protection Beautification Committee in care of the funeral home.
