We are sad to announce that on July 23, 2021 we had to say goodbye to Vivian Carol Smith of McPherson, Kansas, born in Hutchinson, Kansas. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Walfred Cornelius and Mabel Florence Briggs (Johnson); her sister Betty Mowbray (Duane); and her half-siblings, Opal Racster and Hersal Briggs.

She is survived by: her husband Howard Milton Smith; her children, Dr. Perry Smith (Krista) of Great Bend, KS and Norene Kerschen (Daniel) of Garden Plain, KS; and her grandchildren, Emily Pauly (Ethan), Jon Kerschen (Emily), Rachel Schmidt (Jeffrey), Keith Kerschen, Kim Hay (Marshall), Kelsey Sciacca (Adam) and Mason Smith (Amy Urban). She is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Memorial donations may be given to Trinity Lutheran Church or Andover Lutheran Church in care of Stockham Family Funeral Home, 205 North Chestnut, McPherson, KS 67460.
