It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virginia Olive McGuire of McPherson, Kansas, born in Anthony, Kansas, who passed away on November 18, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Brummer and Edna Brummer (Miller); her spouse EJ McGuire; and her brother Vernon Brummer. She is survived by: her children, Eddie McGuire (Charlene) of Summerville, SC, Gary McGuire (Marianne) of Pratt, KS and Deanna Engquist (Rick) of McPherson, KS; her grandchildren, Matthew McGuire (Sarah), Evan McGuire (Lia), Samantha Dutton (Craig), Richard Engquist (Ari), Laura Sweeny (Joe) and Vincent Engquist; her great grandchildren, Carter, Henry, Alex McGuire, Brody, Adlley Dutton, Richard and Teagan Engquist; and her sister-in-law Karellen Larrison.
Memorials may be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church or Good Shepherd Hospice in care of Larrison Mortuary.
