He was predeceased by: his parents, Margaret Barbara (Rohr) and Frank Dechant; his daughter Laura Swart; and his wife Kay Dechant. He is survived by: his children, Kevin Dechant (Jennifer) of Hamburg and Lisa Maguire (Kaleb) of Yukon, Oklahoma; his sister Maryetta Dechant of Casper, Wyoming.; and his grandchildren, Brittany Swart, Brandon Swart, Braden Maguire, Bodie Dechant and Bryn Dechant. He is also survived by his friends and family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
