He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Cecil and Mary Lois Kenton (Stansel); and his siblings, Clarence Kenton and Zelma Kenton. He is survived by: his daughters, Miranda Walters (Greg) of McPherson, KS, Shawna Kenton of McPherson, KS and Megan Kenton-Smith (Clinton) of Detroit Lakes, MN; his grandchildren, Bentley Konen, Riggs Walters, Rhodes Walters, Greydan Smith, KayDee Smith and Adelyne Smith; his siblings, Sheryl Railsback (Gene) of McPherson, KS, Marsha Rageth of McPherson, KS and Winston Kenton (Sally) of Wichita, KS; his former wife Kelly Patrick (Jeff Ponting); and his son Kolin of McPherson, KS. He is also survived by several nieces & nephews; and many extended family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Stockham Family Funeral Home (205 N Chestnut St, McPherson, KS 67460). A memorial service was held on Friday, April 18th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
