She was predeceased by: her parents, Susan K. Souder (Brandt) and Dr. David Souder; and her brother Patrick Souder. She is survived by: her husband Dennis Embrey; her children, Chad Richert (Justin Cook) of Dallas, TX, AshLeigh Brodin of Kansas City, MO and Sierra Kerbs of Joplin, MO; and her siblings, Scott Souder of Kansas City, MO, Aric Souder (Tara) of McPherson, KS and Kelli Jarvis of McPherson, KS. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.
